Job Description

Bright SpOT Pediatric Therapy is looking for passionate and caring occupational therapists to join our team! We are an outpatient, mobile pediatric therapy practice based in Leander/Cedar Park, TX and serving the surrounding community.
If you are looking for a flexible work schedule with autonomy, we would love to have you! We also offer mentorship and support as desired. You will work alongside a collaborative team consisting of occupational and speech therapists. We are passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming care to our clients. We also enjoy advocating for NDA in the community. We are looking for therapists that are ready to collaborate and co-create with us in order to better serve our community.

We are currently seeking full time therapists with a build up period for caseload development. We believe in transparency, so please take into account our compensation model.

Our compensation model is fee-for-service. We pay a higher rate per billable hour to cover drive time, documentation, etc. Starting rates range from $50-$55 per billable treatment session hour, and $70-$75 per initial evaluation. Full time status is evaluated on a quarterly basis to accommodate for weekly visit fluctuations. We also have a bonus structure available to interested therapists. Based on current employee feedback, we provide a monthly Wellness Stipend of $200 to full time employees and CEU reimbursement. Additionally, we pay for mandatory meetings, observations, consultations, and other non-routine job duties. Pay periods are twice a month and every staff member is offered W2 employee status.

Requirements

Licensed in the state of Texas
Pediatric experience (prefer 1-2 years)
Neurodiversity affirming values
Desire to work with children and their families in their natural environment
Access to a personal computer for documentation needs
Passion for the profession and advocacy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat motor, sensory, social-emotional difficulties.
Creating client centered and individualized plans of care
Conducting client centered and individualized treatment sessions
Maintaining detailed records of treatment notes
Writing detailed progress notes and other pertinent documentation
Pursuing continuing education to maintain best, evidenced-based practice
Educate parents/families/caregivers
Collaborate with other team members
Other duties as assigned
